INFORMATION ON STOLYTSYA CORPORATION
STOLYTSYA Corporation was created in November 2004 through incorporation of two closed joint stock companies, namely “Kyivgorstroy-1” and “Trust Kyivgorstroy-1”. Both Companies have been present in the marker for over 10 years and operated as contractors. The corporation unites 30 organizations which are able to provide the complete range of services starting from projecting and design works through handing over flats to investors. Commissioning various jobs to its members the Corporation is in the position to control the performance quality through the whole process from start to the end.
STOLYTSYA Corporation has been the major property developer of Obolon residential area (3-а and 3-б micro-districts, “Passage”
[1] micro-district), where the concept of complex urban planning has been implemented. This allowed to create a complete architectural ensemble with the all the necessary infrastructure. In 2003 the Company won the National Award in Architecture for construction of 3-б micro-district in Obolon residential area.
In 2008 the construction of 3-А micro-district was completed, where 383, 6 thousand square meters of residential space were finished and 3500 apartments were handed over to investors. In this micro-district there they also built 3 kindergartens with the capacity of serving 120 children each, five underground parking for 1553 parking places, the special structure for religious activities “The Temple” of the total space 787, 3 sq. m, the hotel of the total space 4639, 2 sq.m. Now the Company is intensively working at constructing the Ukraine largest trade and entertainment centre with the total area of 160 thousand square meters in Obolon on the site between “Obolon” and “Geroev Dnipra” metro stations. The construction of several business centres also continues.
According to the rating of “InvestGazeta” (the most objective rating in Ukraine) STOLYTSYA Corporation is among the top three largest constructions a company in Ukraine.
During the years of their operation in Ukrainian market the members of STOLYTSYA Corporation have completed a considerable number of various projects totalling to one million sq. m of space. In its capacity of the property developer the Corporation offers its investors not just new dwelling space but a new life style. The Corporation is not building separate houses, it is developing complete residential areas including the infrastructure like shopping centres, kindergartens, schools, outpatient clinics, hotels, entertainment centres, leisure parks, aqua parks, sports facilities and parking lots. The Corporation also offers its investors office space on the ground and first floors of residential buildings, thus providing possibilities for offering the widest range of services for a person in the residential area.
The important achievement of the Corporation is getting the Award «European Quality», which the Company received in Oxford (Great Britain) for new modern quality of residential construction in Ukraine. This award can be the proof that the Company provides quality dwelling space and offers its clients new European life style.
At the end of 2007 the Corporation received another award - «Best Enterprise of Europe», which the Valentin Isak, the President of the Company received in Vienna.
The Corporation also promotes its practice of financing the property development with involvement of investors’ capital into the regions. The current largest projects of the Corporation are – “Leski -2” micro-district in the city of Nikolayev (area 54 hectares), “Ozerny” micro-district in the city of Kremenchug (89 hectares), «Korabel-2» in the city of Kherson (25 hectares).
The Corporation has also projects in the towns of Chernigov, Cherkassy, Vinnitsa Obukhov, Vishevoye, Sudak, Vasilkov, and Bucha.
It is important to note that the projects that the Corporation develops in the regions promote the growth of this industry there and ensure creation of new jobs. All these factors facilitate the development of conceptually new approaches to residential construction in Ukraine and hence support improvements in life standards.
